bad leak from anti run on valve

yesterday i change fuel pump and that is exactly what is happenad . starting the car fuel pooring from valve. i check the small hose from carburator dry bat the fet one from carnister ful of gasolin .what to do now ?The new pump i put two speacer and old one had none.

I would say your new fuel pump has too high pressure.

If it's a mechanical pump it is probably one of those that should have a spacer between it & the cylinder block, to reduce the stroke of the pump, & thus the pressure.

The correct pressure is about 2 PSI, & above this the carbs will flood. Check if your old pump had a spacer.

Don't run it with it like that. The long stroke can break the lever, giving you some extra problems.

The thicker the spacer the less the lever action, the less the fuel pressure. If the fuel pump is different than the original (there are generic ones out there) you may be starting at square one and a fuel pressure gauge would really come in handy rather than trial and error.

Did you mean the charcoal canister? Gasoline shouldn't be in the charcoal canister!

I'm losing something in the translation.

That's true there shouldn't be gasoline in the cannister but if the carburetors are flooding the excess gas will flood the cannisters and leak out the anti run on valve. When I bought my Yellow TCT it had been stored for 4 years and the owner tried to start it to have a better chance to sell it. He said it won't start and it's leaking gas out the fuel pump". He thought the anti run on valve was the fuel pump. It just was severely flooded.
