That's true there shouldn't be gasoline in the cannister but if the carburetors are flooding the excess gas will flood the cannisters and leak out the anti run on valve. When I bought my Yellow TCT it had been stored for 4 years and the owner tried to start it to have a better chance to sell it. He said it won't start and it's leaking gas out the fuel pump". He thought the anti run on valve was the fuel pump. It just was severely flooded.
