Can anyone suggest a website to buy the front end brake caliper rebuild kit?

I live in the USA.

Thanks,

Sean

Either VB or British parts NW. BPNW usually gives you the option of brand name or OEM option. I prefer to go with these when ever possible.

Thanks, did you ever use their kit? The photo does not show the small o-ring that connects the brake fluid transfer hole area....

What about the dime sized plastic o-ring that is needed for the fluid transfer hole? I don't see that in any of the product photos.

I rebuilt my calipers but can't recall if I got them from VB or BPNW as I've ordered from both. Not sure what part you are referring to. I didn't take the caliper apart (apparently not a good thing to do). I took the pistons out, cleaned them up, you want to make sure they aren't corroded/pitted where they contact the rubber seal, replace rubber. metal rings. Use red rubber grease on rubber so it doesn't abraid when refitting pistons.

Our kit does come with it. Which is why it is a bit more money.

Sorry there was not a photo to address that. It has been fixed.

Thanks
Clint

I rebuilt my front calipers.

On the first unit I damaged the v-notch seal that goes on the end of the cylinder, where a dust boot would go I guess.

Should I be worried about that and just buy another rebuild kit to replace that or is that seal just a dust protector? I am thinking that only the inside seal, midway through the cylinder, is the one that seals the brake fluid inside.

Am I correct?
