I live in the US and just bought a FI TR7 dhc. I am looking to replace the rubber hoses and couplings visible in the engine compartment. Reputable source that won't kill me with shipping? Thanks in advance.

With the exception of the hoses directly attached to the injectors, you can purchase FI rated fuel line by the foot at most Auto Parts Stores.
Don't forget to replace the rubber vent hose behind the access panel in the boot. This is just regular fuel line but the old one will be leaking from exposure to what passes as gasoline now a days.

I got mine from local auto parts store (by the foot). The hardest one to come by was the low pressure one from fuel tank to pump. It was an odd size used in some motorcycles (9/16" I think but don't quote me). Surprisingly NAPA had a short length (before they closed up shop), nobody else did. I used the old couplings as they were fine.

If it is the same as the FI TR8, it should be a 12mm hose. Seems to be used on FI VWs of the era.

I concur...any auto parts store should have hose. Also, don't forget to replace the clamps with the correct type (fuel line clamps have solid bands).

Exactly - get the FI clamps, not standard hose clamps. Regualar clamps will chew right through the fuel line rubber.

Thanks guys. DNK I am in NJ.
The 4 hoses I am trying to replace look to be about 1.25" in diameter and 4" long.
I'd post a pic but I can't figure out how.
