TR7 cylinder heads

Do we know if there are any differences in the TR7 (8 valve) cylinder heads? I have a 1980 TR7 2 litre. May need to replace head and trying to make sure what I get fits.

The US spec heads have holes drilled through the side of the exhaust passage for the EGR valve as well.

FI heads are different and there is a difference between the early heads and the late (1979? ) heads. Ted knows.

Additional question - is the 1850 cylinder head identical ???

Early Dolomite heads had smaller valves fitted otherwise they are identical.
Don't know when they changed to the TR7 size valves, probably around the time the TR7 was introduced.

The heads are the same but the back of the head has a cover with a pipe.
On my FASD equipped car that pipe has a plug in it and is not used. On my other car that pipe goes to heater.
