Postby Brianc » 23 Jul 2016 15:02

Anyone know which colour wire is the live feed to the original two contact flasher unit. - without me having to contort under the dash with the meter,,,,

Im fitting the electronic replacement with three contacts to hopefully fix my trailer indicator problems

Off hand i can't remember, but i do remember the L shape of the connector block was the same positions as they go on to the flasher unit, and the spare terminal was the earth.

But that was a long time ago.

Edit:
This might help

I kept the original 'L' when I fitted the electronic unit, just added the ground connection. The plastic 'L' matched the connectors on the new unit.

That's great news, that was one of the first mods I ever did, so be careful or you will end up like me.
