A friend has 4 parts cars and wants to get rid of some. I offered to strip them. This one has a 5 speed, good door winders and windows, chrome windshield surround, full ignition key set matched to doors and trunk lid. Probably take the rack, maybe rear axle, clutch pedal set (for my auto coupe conversion to 5 speed) rear clearance lights and rear light assemblies. Maybe trunk lid and incidental hard to find hardware bits. It will be junk when I'm finished.

We will be having the same fun in the very near future.

Being lazy, we have ordered a complete kit to change from the ZF auto in the 8 to a T5 manual. This is the same box in the big V7 commodores, & is now preferred to the Supra box by those running high power TR7 V8s in the various Targa events around the country.

All we have to do, apart from the meccano set work, is adapt the gearbox mount to the subframe, & mount the pedal box & master cylinder. Sounds easy when said quickly.

I took the pedal assembly out. The dash had been removed already. It took about an hour, pretty hard to reach up there even with the dash out. I will attempt the same on the coupe with the dash in the car. May use some special incantations that day!

man Paul how you find these things is just incredible .......so what do the other three look like ??

Two coupes and another convert. Probably not much better shape than this one. Old abandoned cars left to rot or accidented ( the other convert). A lot has already been stripped from the cars, he just wants to clean up a bit and get rid of the hulks without loosing any good parts. I have scrapped 3 or 4 over the years. Many parts saved have been reused on mine and other cars in the area.
