Procedure for coolant flush...

Wondering how you all have changed your coolant on a car without the removable cap above the thermostat housing??

Any certain procedure? I can drain it easy but refilling may be a chore. I just don't want to have too much air in the system and burn anything.

Don't forget to take the bung out of the block, & flush it out through there as well.

When refilling after draining, I fill the header tank as usual. When that is full, I remove the radiator hose from the thermostat housing, bend it up a bit, & fill to the top through there.
