Postby letstorque » 06 Dec 2013 07:07

I took my Fuel Tank out to give it a good clean and to seal and Paint it etc etc. It wasn't too bad but did have approx half a Gallon of water sitting in the bottom.
anyway, thats no the issue. Does anyone know which way around the top rubber strips fit on?

Not sure what you mean by "which way the top rubber strips fit on" means. Here's a shot of my tank as I was curing the sealer with a hair dryer as it was a little cool out (spring) and I wanted to make sure the sealer was cured as I was running into a time limit as the first car show of the season was looming. I don't think I used the strips from vendors but some foam I had lying around. It's been a few years back now, I don't remember the type of foam I used but I think it was denser than the type the camera seems to show (they can sometimes be deceptive).
