Driver's & Passengers subframe same?

Hello Experts,

Can anyone confirm that the subframes on the driver's and passengers seats are identical with the seat belt components just on opposite sides?

Reason I ask is I'd like to get someone to manufacture a spacer to fit between the subframe and the seat to raise the seat slightly.

If the subframes are the same I could use the passenger side to send away rather than disturbing the driver's side.

My 7 had raised seats when I bought it. The previous owner used M10 nut to sit a little higher.
Be aware to use the correct longer boults to fix the seat to the floor. There will be a lot of forces on them, in case you really need your seat belts.

M10 nuts - good grief - sounds highly unsafe - and insignificant height increase.. Just re-upholster with thicker /more resilient foam!

I have two sets of left / right seat tracks, both from 1977 coupes.

Both appear to be the same with mounting holes for the seat belts on both sides, They measure 14.75 /15.00 inches with a .25 in of play or movement.

The mounting points on the floor of the one coupe is at 14.75 for the front holes.

As to the different part #, at one point were only one side thread for the seat belts?

Other learned members would have to answer that.
