Group 4 suspension Springs

Postby march » 12 Jul 2015 19:19

Hi,

I am in the process of stripping my old TR7 V8 rally car. It has the works group 4 front McPherson struts and top mounts and has a lovely set of new Eibach springs but I have noticed they have been cut down!

Does anyone know the correct spring size and compression rate that should be fitted and where I could get them from?

Thanks in advance.

Marc

Sorry for this late reply, marc, but my Group 4 TR7V8 (SOP777S) lists 260lb springs at the front (with 280/120 Bilstein dampers) and 240lb springs (320/120 inserts) at the rear. Hope this helps.

I have got a few more pictures of SOP777S when Jon Vicker ran it, your pic is at the South Farm jump on the Cheltenham Stages mid-80's.
I can send them on a pm if you like.

Thanks for this camp - any idea of length of the spring when it is not compressed as I have no idea if the ones I have are correct?
