The Workshop Manual

Postby silverseven » 13 Apr 2014 01:46

By popular demand here is the official Triumphtr7.com workshop manual section!

Please submit and/or transfer your "do-it-yourself" tech aids and repair articles here so we can regroup our threads together.

**please try to keep the articles tech related and on-topic [;)]

Thanks !!!

Ron.

easy pleasey actually ,just note that only moderator/admins and OP's can flip their threads.

Simply find the thread you want to move, click the "edit" on the upper right corner , then scroll down to the fourth line which is the "forum" section, then hit the arrow and choose where you want to move the topic.

That's it!

(I hope you don't mind, but I practice this with some of your topics from the TR7 forum earlier.)

Would there be any copyright issues about posting a scanned copy of the manuals here? I have a different version than the one jclay has, I think it may be a later one that addresses up to the 1980 model. I can post the whole thing as a .pdf or add the pertinent sections of it to other posts; what the manual says about doing brakes, clutch, etc.

I would not want to upload to much from previously written materials , as this could have possible copyright infringements with the different laws and such between country's ect.

Lets try to keep it to "our" stuff [;)][;)]

Silverseven:
I have been going through some old topic threads to find good summaries for this area. When I find good topics I still have no way to move them to this section, because I didn't originate the threads. I can post a link to the topics, or should I send you the links to transfer them here?

I'd like to suggest that the start of this sticky be amended to provide (permanent) links to online versions of the OCR conversions (i.e. with searchable text) of the PDF files for the TR7 and TR8 repair operation manuals (ROM), e.g.:
1. TR7 ROM - part number AKM3079A
2. TR8 ROM - part number AKM3971A
