Anybody know this car on ebay, item number 200347922734 reg number UDH 71R, certainly look as though it has been in the barn for a long time.
It has a roll cage and some rally livery paintwork remains.[;)]
Cheers

I'm glad the car is not in my neighbourhood - I'd probably buy it.

The tach has a redline at 7000 but it has SU carbs, cast headers & at least 1 of the wheels has a steel rim so might not be a great donor. If the shell is sound then the fact that it has a cage might save someone some time & money assuming it is still legal.

Never say die. At least not while you're still breathing.

Looks to me like an old rally car that has had most of the good bits taken off after it was retired from competition.

I remember having a TR7V8 conversion parts price list in the late 80's from an outfit called Funky Gibbon Racing. I think the owner's name was Mike Gibbon, hence the name. It was about the time I was looking to convert to V8 spec and they had an advert in one of the car mags.

I don't remember what happened to them.

Hi,
I have a copy of FGR Catalogue in my collection of TR7 / 8 'stuff'
Not only did Mike Gibbon do bits for our cars but also SD1's and built a Rover V8 powered Metro 6R4 calling it a FG8R4 [:D]
