A picture would help. If by throttle body (there is no throttle body as each injector has it's own barrel) you mean the air plenum there is a small pipe at the front with 90 degree bend that has a hose that goes to the fuel pressure regulator. Is this what you mean?

Hmmmm...went and checked mine, and it doesn't have that pipe at all...strange, very strange...

Also checked my Bentley manual, and it doesn't indicate anything like that .

OK
I have one also .
First I must inform you that I can;t get my car to start.
Mine I connected it to the Delco distributor pump.
You should have had a small tube with two bigger rubber ends.
make sure the tube is clean by spraying some air into it just to make sure there is no junk in it.
Now that I am Here
Does anybody know what the Blue thingy is
and the Black one with the two connectors and there function???
Here is a picture of Mine.

Mmmm.. interesting. Mine doesn't have the spigot, I'm guessing it might be vacuum to the distributor? Mine had no spigot, no hose to the distributor. Might it be the difference between a '80 Californian FI (which mine is)and a rest of states FI?

Zekow1:
Don't know what the blue thingy is, mine has it but not connected to anything, something to do with full throttle, mine had a solenoid jack (not connected) that I left off which turned the A/C off on full throttle for automatics.

The big black thing is your throttle position sensor that is hooked into wiring loom and goes back to the ECU. The little black thing is full throttle sensor that goes back to ECU to give extra rich mixture.
