Not to long ago there was a link by one of the members on how to fit the soft-top, but I'm damned if I can find it. Is there a helpful soul out there who knows what I'm talking about and can direct me to the said article? Many thanks...

I fitted a new soft-top last summer at this time - it's easy! Basically - remove the old top, taking pictures as you go - and then fit the new one ! There is a holding down bar at the rear - it may need some repair work. Fit the hood at the rear - then lay it over the frame and mark where it will fold over the front bar - then trim it down to fit (leave it a bit long!) - and apply glue and stretch the hood over the bar - and then pop-rivet the hold-down strips on either side. I decided to NOT worry about making the hood super-tight - I wanted a nice easy fit and it's been fine. At the sides - I did NOT fit 'poppers' - this was all that was wrong with old hood - the poppers had torn through the material. I used sticky velcro strip - one side attached to the car, the other to the hood materail. It works - it's neat and tidy - and there is no risk of ripping the new hood material! If you want more details - and I may still have some pictures - contact me directly. It's a scarey job - that actually turned out to be relatively easy once I got started.
I notice you car - like mine has the roll over bar fitted. this does tend to catch the frame - but even so - slacken the frame holding bolts and slide the frame to the lowest position - then when the job is complete you can adjust the frame upwards to tighten the hood - and to clear the roll bar. I still haven't figured out how to stop the roll bar 'chaffing' the perspex rear window !!

Yes, I do mean how to replace the soft-top. I remember a direct link to some very detailed instructions (I think it may have been by a US member) At the time I thought it would be useful for me, but foolishly I didn't save/print/note them. Thanks Bmcecosse, those are useful instructions to give me an idea, and thanks Jclay, I never knew there was a specific way to fold the hood!
