overflow on expansion tank

just fitting a few bits and pieces back into engine bay, where is overflow tube routed and or clipped its been a long time coming together. any pics would be useful of this area

79 - 80 model year metal expansion tank on left hand front inner wing

On my 80 model the overflow runs down the side of the header tank &
forward to a hole in the inner gard.
The hole is below the center front of the tank, a couple of inches
forward of the tank mounting. The tube hangs down a couple of inches
inside the wheel. Sorry, no pics, I don't even own a camera.

Yep, My TR8 had the overflow running into the wheel well. I rerouted it to the unused washer bottle. Last thing I want is antifreeze puking out in front of the tire at the track.
