I remember looking at a very interesting procedure for installing an oil pressure guage in place of the TR7 clock. I have done a search on this subject and can access the site it was published on but cannot seem to retrieve the actual instructions/photos. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Installing an oil pressure guage is a very simple procedure.
I used a Smith's guage less it's trim ring and lens. I removed the instrument pod and took out the clock. Using my Dremel tool with a cutting disc I cut off the back of the clock housing. I used the Smith's guage bracket to mount tha guage but cut off it's legs. The whole project just took a couple of hours and looks factory. I even get good lighting on the guage with my "Odd" instrument lights.[:)]

Thanks Rich. I just purchased a Smith's guage on ebay. Does the trim ring just sort of pry off? Also, the guage I bought needs a sending unit. Any suggestions?
