Has anyone had one of these?

I presume it is as described and not just the hood cover.

If so how is it fixed at the front? Does it fix to the top of the dashboard?

Often this is the descroption used for the hood cover - when it's floded up behind the seats. But indeed a full tonneau is availble - but looks ghastly!

My TR8 has one that is afixed to the top of the dash. I have also seen them that are attached to the very top of the windshield frame.

<font color="green"><font face="Comic Sans MS">There you go - always will have a mixed reception, some like, some don`t. Keeps prying eyes off and the dust/sand out when parked without raising the top. Front part rolls back to diagonal velcro slots and goes behind seats to leave just the `hood-bag` part at the back, hence small seperate hood bag not fitted when FT used.</font id="Comic Sans MS"></font id="green">

The tonneau covers I've seen (pictures) have the snaps are up by the top of the windshield. Also seen the snaps by base of the windshield on club members car but no cover. I was under the impression that the windscreen top method was the method at the time and snaps at base of windscreen was after after market.

Reguardless it doesn't suit the rake of the windshield. They were meant for the more vertical windshield of the older sportcars.

<font color="green"><font face="Comic Sans MS">What you see above is the factory design which was not avaiable as a new car order option, but only as dealer fit.
The FT fits to both the top of the dash with clips and has a split vertical section that is clipped to the top of the windscreen-or each half can be furled as shown in the first picture. The central zip runs along and up to the top of the screen header rail. When the header rail part is fixed and fully zipped this lifts the main flat area in the middle a little creating a slight tenting effect. </font id="Comic Sans MS"></font id="green">
