I notice that Rimmers sell an engine-to-gearbox tie-rod (http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/tr7/images/20.gif, item no: UKC5670) - I assume that the purpose of this is stability of some sort but I'm now on my third TR7 and have yet to see one fitted [:0]. Is my assumption correct [^], are they suitable for 4 & 5 speed boxes [:I] and are they worth the princely price of £10 from Robsport [?] If so, it's off to Robsport go.

Cheers,

Mac.
