Rear deck repair

Hi all.
I'm trying to get hold of a new rear deck skin to suit a late coupe with small filler cap. I've tried Rimmers, S&S, Robsport, James Paddock, Radford panel & Moss & no one has any left as its obviously been deleted.
A couple of UK companies offered sections cut from cars, but the extra bits make the package big & heavy & the shipping cost is just crippling.
If anyone can think of any other parts suppliers that might have one, please let me know.
Thanks. Scotty

Or find yourself someone who can make you a new panel ...
(which part of the panel do you need b.t.w.[?])

Hi EntonoX, thanks for the lead. Hi Beans The deck has suffered around the filler cap recess & the patch panels that are readily available are just too short. You're right, I may need to get someone to make one for me, but one off the shelf woulod durely be cheaper.
Thanks guys.

Scotty, Rimmers Bros has a rear deck in their current sale flyer that expires at the end of March. This deck come with the boot hinges. Hope this helps.

Hi Cliff. I emailed Rimmers & they sent me a reply on Thursday & said that the rear deck was no longer available. did they list a part number in the flyer? If its a different number, I'll quiz them again.
I just checked their website & they flyer was on there. The rear deck they have listed is the convertible version only, no good for me unfortunately. So I;m still looking for a coupe one.
Thanks, Scotty

Has anyone dealt with TD Fitchett? I see them advertising in magazines & they may be a possibility for the deck skin I need, but I can't believe any sales company in this day & age, wouldn't even have an email address for enquiries.
Do you think it would be worth my while ringing them?
Thanks, Scotty.

Hi Scotty, Fitchett's are an old fashioned company that likes to deal directly with the customer, they are very knowledgable and as they have a lot of the original tooling produce a lot of panels etc.
I ordered a fuel tank and all the ancillaries over the phone and it was delivered the next day, very good company to deal with.[:)]

Moe
