Gaz,top right of page 196 in the rimmers cat.Mine does not have any
make on it.Lenhams are pretty distinctive(some might venture 'ugly')
but there ar'nt many available alternatives.

Hi Paul
Silly question, do you have to remove the hood when you want to put the hardtop on?[;)]

Hi Moe,yes the top has to be removed. The hard top sits on the rear lip
of deck that the hood clips to and the bracket that locates hard top
to car just behind seats is fixed where the folding frame hinges.

Paul

Sorry to contradict, but my Lenham fits over the
folded hood and the hood-bag....

Lenham used to have a small aluminium name plate
under the rear window \ Near-side, I think,
although many may have gone now due to
re-painting etc!

I stand corrected then Max,on test fits it appeared that the hood frame
at the hinge points would foul the hard top fixing bracketry,so i assumed
it'd need to come off.Bought mine over a year ago, hav'nt got round to
refurbing it to fit!

See ya. Paul

Thanks Paul and Maxwell, I sold one a few years ago that came off of a spares car, that one you had to remove the hood,so that is interesting the way the Lenham fits over the hood.

well i picked up my roll bar yesterday really nice guy had a tr7 20 years ago got rid of it, then his wife bought him another one about three years ago he then got rid of it to much work and no where to store it, he said he went to the TRDC national in 1989 he said it was the first TR7 only show and there must have been at least 150 cars how things have changed (although we had a good turn out maybee about 40 cars last year?) there is obviosly less 7s around these days........

any way. not bad for less than a £5 oh and £70 diesel and £15 campsite fees 318 miles round trip well......it was break as well still cheap if you look at it like that.

now all i have to do is come to some sort of arrangement with this other guy on the hard top..........

well picked up the hard top.........
it is a lenham metal plate on the back its slightly different to the one in the rimmers catalogue same shape but it has opening quarter lights and the back edge seems to have a curved cut out for the petrol cap
i'll have to get it sprayed though i don't think gold on blue would look right............
Black or Blue?????????????

It rides again.....

Hi Gaz

Sounds just like mine.

Colour? White, cream or coffee. They go with virtually
anything!!
