Hi guys, i was just thinking while i was taking my door cards off today to clean was just wondering is there any kind of original speaker size surround at all available, because something thats been bugging for a while that is that someone hs at some point fitted bigger speakers then when it came to selling the car, put the originals back leavin the small screws hole in the vinyl, again was just wondering as the door card itself is in excellent condition apart from that.

Any help on this would be great

Many thanks all

Radio-Shack used to see a proper sized replacement in black. Looked pretty close to original and was well made. But I havent bought one in years from them, so Im not sure as of right now if they are still sold thru them anymore.

That is the same problem I had, covering up over size speaker holes. My solution is in door panel fix.

Radio Shack disappeared from the UK years ago (pity, they were useful for bits and fascinating to wander about). Maplins sell car speakers in 4", 5" and 6" sizes. I have no idea what the originals were but mine was fitted with 5" (not original to judge by the additional holes and not very good), but the 5" Maplins ones are OK and covered the holes. They also tend to crop up in their special offers regularly at about £5-£8 a pair.
