OK, so it's at the top end and it's from a dealer, but it looks nice in the pics... and are they tan leather seats?

Jeez that's a good price for what you are getting though. Here it would be at least 30% more. Somebody here is selling a new double bulge bonnet & I wouldn't mind having it except he wants $NZ2250 for it!! That's $US1200 or GBP790. That's over 2 x more than I'd have to pay for a complete parts car.

I kinda like the look of the earlier hood on that car. Ive been thinking of doing the same thing w/my 7, remove the double-bulge and install the early style I have in my shop.

The single bulge bonnet/hood is generally cheaper/easier to get hold of.
Thats probably why these cars have them.
See ya. Paul

The single hump bonnet is supposed to be less rust prone.....
There are some new old stock double hump bonnets around but they're single hump items with an extra pressing.
Unfortunately the frame prevents the hump from being placed 100%correctly and it sits further back. I'd heard that these are the ones that TD Fitchet sells as double hump bonnets.
On my DHC the bonnet needs relacing or repairing. My Holley would fit fine under a single hump but that's one bit of originality I wouldn't want to change.
