Has anyone ever adapted RR/Disco brakes to a TR7/8?

I have access to a parts truck and was toying of using these brakes. Given that they stop 6000+ lbs of truck, they should be able to stop my little car fairly well.

Any thoughts?

Stopping power is indeed pretty good, but they are way to heavy for a TR7 ...
