Forever Black

Postby Tack » 21 Jan 2009 12:31

Has anyone ever tried a product called "Forever Black"; from a company in California, on their bumpers, tops or tires?

Based on what I've read on line I thought I might give it a try.

Below is one review and "Forever Black's" web site.

Hey Randy,

I have used this to re-colour my dash from a pale grey sun bleached look to jet-black plastic again. Looks great and has been on almost 6 months without any sign of fading or streaking.

Its good becuase unlike paint it manages to sink into the plastic and dye it - this means you keep the texture and surface relief of the dash even though its re-coloured.

I dont know about external use as all my bumpers are body coloured but in ocassions when ive been caught roof down in the rain its not been a problem.

Sounds great. I'll certainly give it a try.

Thanks!
