I sometimes spend hours reading the questions on ebay, they are hilarious.

I get these kind of questions all the time. I sell stuff on e-bay and craigslist and I gotta tell ya.....no matter HOW descriptive you are, no matter HOW blunt you make the ad, no matter HOW many times you repeat the same sentance, no matter if you make all the important words in ALL-CAPITALS, I constantly get stupid-questions on whatever items I have for sale/auction!!!

Some buyers really crack me up thou![:D]

Hum? I'm confused! What are you trying to say, Johnny?

I once auctioned off a friends of mine's 1986 buick Regal on Ebay recently.

The car was his Fathers, it was very neglected even tho it did run and drive. It hadnt had state inspection in over a year. It needed tires Bad, choke would stick causing high-idle, turnsignals/brakelights worked only when they wanted to. (i.e; it needed work). I boldly stated all of the car's problems and posted very descriptive-photo's.

But I still kept getting questions from potential bidders like; "Will this car make a road-trip to Los Angeles CA??"(clear-across the country!) "Is the car restored, did you do the restoration?"

And more questions of the like. In other words....some people crack me up with their questions, its like they ask them before reading the listings-ad or veiwing the posted pictures...just like the question asked of the (partial) TR7 in gaz's post.

One time when I was selling and MGB, someone asked how many doors did it have and if it was automatic...they were buying it for a reliable driver for their kid to go to work in...I told them to get a Ford.
