S&S Preparations

Postby omichaelshar » 29 Dec 2008 21:27

I just received the following sad news from Richard Connew through the wwwedge mailing list:

<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Century Gothic, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">
For those of you who know Simon and Steve of S&S Preparations in the UK you will know they have put a great deal of time and expertise into keeping these cars on the road so will be sad to learn Simon suffered a stroke on Saturday breaking his ankle also in the fall that subsequently followed. He is now recovering and speech while slurred is coming back. As he said to Steve, for years I've raced bikes and never had an injury, now I have a fall at work and need a steel pin in my ankle. Contact email for them is steve@ss-preparations.co.uk

Let's all hope Simon makes a full and speedy recovery.

Hiya Steve.

And there was I sat at work, enjoying my sandwich, reading the TR7 forum. . .

What a shock.

Please pass on my best wishes to Simon and his family when you are next in touch.

Never had any dealings with S&S but my sympathys go out. My dear late mother suffered from strokes so I am painfully aware how nasty they are. I also know how successful rehabilitation can be. I certainly hope that is the case for Simon. Please pass along my best wishes and encouragement for a full rehab.
