Local (to me) members??

Postby windy one » 27 Dec 2008 17:24

I was just wondering.....I live here in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Near to NE Philly, Trenton NJ, Burlington NJ, Delaware, MD & NY.

How many forum members are near me?? I still have quite a bit to sort thru as of yet B4 i advertise to sell-off, but I have a HUGE amount of TR7 & 8 parts here I will need to sell to raise $$ to get my latest "7" project up & running!

however, with some of my spare parts being big &/or heavy, I may need to try to stay away from shipping due to the costs these days. I would like to advertise here in 'parts' section, but unsure how many of you may be in need/live kinda close to me before I do?

(by big were talkin...transmissions, body parts, dashboards, engine parts, wheels/tires.. etc.)

-Quick visit to Mapquest shows your only +/-7.5 hrs from us Canucks up here in the East....pretty easy roadtrip for some of us (especially come spring) ,who knows maybe if there is enough interest once you get your list done, for a eastern Canada group buy??? .....-
I'd also still be way interested in that hard-top roof [;)]

Actually, yes...well, I was. I joined DVT back in 1995 or 96, when I bought my first wedge. Had been a member up untill last year. I came accross some tough financial times, and didnt renew my membership. I have many trophys and plaques around from various show I entered over the years with some of my DVT friends :-)

I may renew my membership in 2009, but right now I am only a member of Triumph Wedge Owners Asso. (was TR8CCA)

I have more stuff than I thought possible. Just got the latest 7 in my shop today. Gonna go over it and see what I will need to replace, then really start going thru all the extra stuff and get a good list together.

Its incredible how many parts can/have acumilated over the years!

WindyOne,

Keep an eye on your TWOA news or website. I've been told that there's to be a huge contingent of wedges at the Roadster Factory Summer Party this coming August.

A MA member has already put the call out for me, in Maine, to start planning for the trip.

Ive been promising myself for years that I would try to get to at least one when they have them. And, once again I am going to try this year, as its only a few hours or-so drive from where I live.

I guess the best I can do right now is....try to get my car as reliable as I can afford, then post a thread as the event nears and hope I can meet up with some of you that may be attending too.

Something I do say to myself when I travel...its not just the destination, its the journey![:)]
