Postby tipo158 » 18 Dec 2008 04:49

I got the David Knowles TR7 book for my birthday a week ago. Just gotta say that it is really good and I highly recommend it to TR7 folks.

Agree. Best book ever published on the TR7/TR8.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have his book "MG - the untold story" and really enjoyed it. Glad to hear he did a good job with the TR7/TR8 one as well.

hi jim no news on the car yet as it stands at the moment the car is said to be ok........ i still havn't seen it since before the fire as no one is allowed in the building as yet but i am told it will see daylight again..........
but in the meantime one of my fingers has now fallen off due to my crossing them for so long.....as for your mention in book weh hey..

I think when this is all over someone should write a book about SHADOW.......

incidently this isn't the first time the car has been in a fire when i got it someone had tried to set the garage it was stored in alight with minimal damage hood carpet rear bulkhead panel and a little paint damage all mainly from the plastic window in the hood melting. so this is fire number two. do you think its trying to tell me something or do you think it just likes warm garages..........
maybee Debs on the forum has got it wrong and my car is the real "Christine"...................

It rides again.....

A more likely moniker would be Phoenix. Not only once did it raise from the ashes but twice.

Don't be silly Gaz everyone knows the real "Christine" was a 1958
Plymouth Fury (don't they)[:)]...how about "Firestarter".(only kidding) I'm gonna ask Santa for the book as well- a bit of light reading maybe for me after I complete the works of Borak Obama.

Sorry, I must correct my earlier mistake, Mr Obama's 1st name is spelled Barack. (I just checked on the book) But I'm sure you knew who I meant...(it's Barry for short in case you were wondering)[:I]
