[8D]Hello my fellow Wedge lovers! New to this forum and wanted to say Hi for my first post.

Names John, I live on the SE side of Pennsylvania, USA. Ive been a Wedge owner/lover for the past 12 years, now on my seventh Wedge. I have been a Triumph Wedge Owners asso. member (formerly TR8CCA) for at least 8-9 years, and a member of Delaware Valley Triumph's even longer.

My past Tr's included two 1980 TR7-Spider's, 1980 "Car & Driver Magazine's" Triton Green TR8 cover/feature-car that I bought from the original owner. Two more TR7's after that, a british racing green & a red 7. In 2003 bought another TR8, also British racing green. With parts and well needed advice from Woody Cooper of the Wedge-Shop, I made that 8 a fantastic running car.

Now on my seventh wedge, a 1979 white TR7. Now somewhat computer literate, I came across this forum and had to jump aboard.

So howdy all! [:D] I will do my best to help those in need, and look forwrd to chatting (typing) with you fine folks!

Welcome aboard. The question on my mind is why have you had so many TR7's? Trees keep getting in your way?[:)] Too heavy a foot?[:D] Are you a magnet for SUV driving, cell phone using, driving while drinking other people[8D]?

LOL. No. It just that everytime I find one and pour my heart, soul, and skin from my knuckels makin it a reliable roadworthy piece, something financially happens and I need to sell to recoupe finances. My two TR8's were the hardest to sell! I took my time and made SURE they were reliable and in excellent running/driving cond.

Its always for the need of money! But, thankfully, I did get to enjoy each and everyone Ive owned before eventually having to sell off to raise some $$. They were all in great condition when sold, and I made sure they went to caring wedge owners [;)]
