ANY TIPS ON REMOVING OVER SPRAY FROM GLASS?

Hi all, just while im doing the nitty gritty jobs on mt 7, just wondered if anyone had any tips on removing old overspray from glass, windscreen in particular, think the last person who had my 7, tried but not hard enogh to cover every nook and cranny before pain spraying.

Any advice as always is a big help

Couple ideas: razor blade, mineral spirits, paint thiner/reducer.

Hi Mowog, havent tried the others but did consider paint thinners, will give it goes and se what happens.

fine steel wool and glass cleaner aslubricant also work very well.....


Clay bars, and/or light compound (white) could also be used to remove light overspray

Paint thinners! Just don't breathe the fumes - use only in a well ventilated area. I wouldn't use ANY kind of abrasive material - too much risk of 'clouding' the glass!

White spirit shall not work you can better use thinner, thats a little more agressive.

Use it only on the windows!!! Not on paintwork!!
