ITS RADIATOR CHANGE TIME

Hi all just wondered from your own experience is it a long job to replace a Rad on the 7? mine aint that great and thought id replace it with the spare i had.

Its quite straight forward. I think a a good screwdriver to loosen off the hose clips and a 13 mill or half inch socket/spanner is all you require. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to add a bit more.

If you remove the lower mouting croosmember you don't have to remove the fan assembly (if you still have it on that is)

Main thing will be to make sure you refill the system properly - with good anti-freeze and get all the air out of the system before going far in the car!
