about this time last year somebody asked the question how many tr7s are left on the road.
amongst other answers John clancy wrote this " This time last year in Britain there were (apparently) 2000 left registered with the DVLA.".
this is now info from 2years ago does any one have an update or indeed know how many of those cars registered with the DVLA are drivers

It rides again

I would guess around 300-400 would be drivers, about 75 daily drivers out of that, and I think I'm being optimistic.

There are still TR7's coming out of barns and storage that haven't been registered for years. If the 2000 figure was correct (and I'm pretty sure it was) then there are probably around 1800 still on the DVLA's books. I think about 1000 would be drivers but you may be right Mr. Wood... so few is a bit frightening.

I wish we knew how many were left worldwide. Probably 15000 to 20000 so unless someone has a better idea then that doesn't sound so bad.

Can I add to this by saying my wedge is a daily driver and since mid july when she went back on the road after 17 years laid up and 2 and a half years of restoration have put over 4,000 miles on her. I've got some catching up to do!

If it doesn't fit you obviously need a bigger hammer.

In New Zealand I can think of about 25 that I have seen or heard about. Half of these are either race cars, wrecks or both. If was to guess I'd say there were maybe 150 cars in total.

Wow, that many in the netherlands. I suppose thats because it's
easier to push your car home, on the flat.

It's OK, I've got my coat.

Good one Hasbeen!

I'm hoping there's at least 10,000 left in the US and Canada but I don't suppose we'll ever know.

Wow, that's incredible - registered with DVLA- does that count "SORN"
Was surprised to see another "Premium" on Ebay- went last night of an estimate only 40-50 left out of original 400.
