I want to convert my TR7 from AC to non-AC heating unit, but I have just realized just how different the two units are! It appears that ducts are completely different and are non-interchangeable!

Has anyone performed such conversion? Does anyone want to swap a pristine AC heating unit with all of the ducts for non-AC unit with the matching ducts?

I just ripped out all the AC stuff and kept the heater, rather straightforward.
Bonus is that the AC heater is slightly more efficient when demisting the car's front screen and it ventilates better then the non AC unit [:)]

I like the simplicity and light weight of the non-AC unit. AC unit is 33lbs, where as non-AC unit is 19lbs. That is 14lbs which I can do without [;)].

Plus, I do not like the idea of the coolant valve to regulate the temperature...

I think that the heatervalve will leak in former days or later, at least at me.
Maybe I can change some o rings or something like that.
