It is that time of year again, and the Battle of the Brits will be waged in Sterling Heights Michigan. Hope to see some of you there again, (I'll be working the front gate in the morning).

Battle of the Brits 2008 – Press Release
Dearborn Heights, Mich., March 1, 2008 –This year as for the past 26 the Detroit Triumph Sports Car Club and the Metro Triumph Riders Motorcycle club jointly host the 26th Annual Battle of the
Brits – British Car and Motor Cycle Show. The event will be held Sunday September 14, 2008 at Freedom Hill Park in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Each year over 300 classic British Cars and the same number of Motorcycles, compete for an award in various categories both judged and selected by participates. Traditionally, over 2000 British car lovers come down to the park to show, view, and meet with other “car crazyâ€￾ classic car lovers.
Kid’s of all ages can participate in the “Parts Tossâ€￾ and other fun events as well. New this year Slot car Racing. Race vintage slot cars against 4 other drivers in timed races. Awards go to highest number of laps completed per race. Both Adult and Kid categories.

Hi Bill,

My wife, Judy, and I are planning to be there. Judy will be driving the Spitfire and me the MGBGT. Hopefully next year the TR7 will make the event.
