Has anyone fitted an aluminium fuel tank to a road car?

If so was it custom made or did you manage to find a supplier?

Approximate costs, ease of fitment?

There will be plenty about - for competition use, and intended for fitting inside the boot.

Triumph Rover Spares in Adelaide (South Australia) make them. It includes an in-tank swirl pot and FI pump (Bosch-same as for a v6 Commodore). Not cheap (Ithink about $900AUD when I got mine five or six years ago). And then you'd have freight to the UK on top. Welcome to our world of high priced spares that have to be sent halfway across the globe!
