Quick question. I'm looking at buying a TR7 and wanted to which alloy wheels fit. [?] I've seen various TR7s with what looks like MGF wheels or large Superlights or similiar.

MGF alloys will fit. There are various aftermarket styles that can be used, you just need to make sure you get the right bolt circle diameter (PCD) at 95.25mm, not the 100mm that is often found on other makes eg Ford.

Mind you, it makes the wheels off a TR7 less desirable to thieves cos they don't fit most other cars!

You can get Superlites to fit too - they drill the blanks to suit. They were based in Gloucester, last time I looked.

Th offset on MGF wheels is not quite right - +20 instead of +25 I think (somebody correct me if I'm wrong!), but I think that's probably close enough.

Hi,
There are alternative wheels come up on Fleabay every now and then if you dont want to go down the 'MGF' route, there was recently a set of both 4 and 5 spoke revolutions on there.
I have just recond my 5 spoke revolutions (I have had then 15+years, resprayed them myself and spent an age polishing the rims [^] )and fitted them to my DHC-
