Body kits arches information please?

Hi all, no doubt what I am going to ask has been covered all before, but here we go.

I am looking for information as regards creating aggressive looking wheel arches (front and rear)to accommodate a nice set of wheels.

This is for a 1977 2litre Coupe.

Maybe other body kit parts...de bumpering...lowering? who knows?

I have experience in welding and sheet metal work but I am not in the league of "beating" out my own profiles etc.

I am looking to create a muscle car look.

Somebody must have knowledge on this?

Apologies to all the "keep it original" enthusiasts but I want to create something which is personal to me. It's got to have the right look without appearing "tacky".

I have looked on the web but I haven't yet seen the look that appeals.

Any info on how to do it and where to get the right stuff from greatfully received.

Thank you.

Grinnall fabricated all steel panels to widen my arches and sills. These are then welded on and blended into the exisisting panelwork with fillers and lead loading.

S and S Preparations specialise in re-creating this body style here in the UK. http://www.ss-preparations.co.uk/grin.htm

Thanks for that I will make some enquiries now I know where to look. The pics look really good.
Can you advise on suitable wheels/tyres to do the job?
Thank you regards Richard.

There are several options: full "wide body" kits and just the flare/arches.

I would start by reading these threads:
