took my seven out for a 10 min spin yesterday well the sun was out it was warm and after driving around all day with the wife and little un seeing all the open top cars it kinda got to me.....
so my little spin stopped short after about 5 mins i drove around a corner got about 15 yards down the road and..............
sparks and what seemed to smoke coming out from under the bonnet i papped my self all sorts going through my mind
I opened the bonnet slowly in case.....it was all on fire then i saw my battery had fallen of the tray and both terminals were sat on my roker cover hence the sparks battery acid not much i must say on my manifold hence the smoke (steam) my god that stuff gets to back of your throat when burning.........
needles to say i have now secured my battery and hope it wont happen again........
just to add all my electrics seem to be fine nothing seems to have shorted..
although i dont recomend this method to anyone my clock seems to have started to work again lol..
It rides again

Hey, at least it wasn't terminal (that's a battery joke). [:D][:D][:D]
I once went for a drive from London to Wales in a Polo and the engine fell out before we'd gone 20 miles.

Whilst arresting them, can you not also do them for assault and battery?

Whoops, I didn't mean to spark off such a pun-fest. There are some real die-hard punsters on this forum. Anyone know how to switch it off before we get reported to the coppers & lead off to pun-jail on a charge of resisting arrest?
