What colour should the side metal strip be just above the sill?,I've just taken off with nitromores Black,Red,Blue,Black again then revealing a rather nice condition stainless steel chrome!.

Should be black like the original sill colour,but ive seen it 'naked'
on some wedges to good effect.Dont lose the plastic end pieces,hard
to get hold of now.
