What's Happened To The Web Site?

Postby gairo1 » 21 Jul 2008 09:32

Hello All,

Just a question about the web site which seems to be inactive. Apologies if I'm wrong but is there something wrong with it or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Cheers. Jerry

We had a discussion a while ago about it and sometimes it is unavailable for maintenance etc. Normally happens overnight in the UK so we dont tend to have too many problems, but it seems to affect those where a big time difference occurs when they are looking during the day. Dont know if this the answer to your question but i remember the discussion took place on here about a month or 2 ago.

Regards

Simon

Also depends which oif the web sites you are referring to. If you mean this forum it has been OK for me. If you mean TriumphTR7.com that has also been OK but if you mean WaringstownTR7s.co.uk then that seems to be diverting to TriumphTR7.com at the moment. I know there was some talk not too long ago about transferring the technical content from Waringstown.co.uk to Triumph TR7.com. Maybe that has happened/is happening now? Not sure if the idea was that Waringstown.co.uk would close down once the information was transferred though.

I was really meaning that it (the Triumph TR7 site) has not been updated for nearly a year, just wondered if it was defunct or there was somewhere else?

Jay (trisha) has been busy tending to his new family, ( as have a few of us here ;) ) but, he has assured me that there will be some updates to the front page soon.........
