CYLINDER HEAD STUD BOLTS

HELP

I HAVE BLOWN MY HEAD GASKET.

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ADVICE AS TO HOW TO REMOVE THE STUD BOLTS ON THE MANIFOLD SIDE I HAVE GOT ONE OUT BUT THE OTHERS ARE STUCK FAST THEY SEEM TO BE CORRODED IN.

NOT SURE IF ITS IN THE CAST PART OR THE ALUM HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND OVER COME IT.

IS THERE ANY METHOD HEAT FLUIDS OR JUST BRUT FORCE.

Lots and lots of penetrant. Take your time. Patience is crucial. There's a lot of info here about head removal. Do a search.

And... if this is possible... put the studs back in and run the engine up to operating temperature. Then try the seized stud first.

In the meantime copious quantities of penetrating oil.
