Postby sullivan » 05 Jul 2008 21:17

Anyone come up with a way to re-attach the washers to the back of the rubber headlight bezels? Thanks for any info.

Clean the rubber and remove all traces of rust. Find a new washer (the old rusty ones are never that clean) now use a good quality super glue. I use a model makers two part super glue that comes with an activator and it works really well. Also if you use a proprietry metal polish such as brasso on the rubber bezel it will shine like a new one.

If it doesn't fit you obviously need a bigger hammer.
