Wind Blocker

I've purchased one of Tim's wind blockers (http://www.morspeedperformance.com) and I must say that I'm extremely pleased with the purchase! The quality, sturdiness, and workmanship of the product is outstanding. It works beautifully, as well. I made my morning commute yesterday morning in 45 degree weather with the top down and side windows up and running the heater and it was really quite comfortable!

Windblocker??? and what - take away the "wind through the hair" experience...thats why I bought a DHC. Even the dog likes to
hang her head out the window and get her fur and ears blown back.
If its cold, like 45F or 5C, I wear a wool hat...

I am driving a TR7 dhc to Morocco next year, and worry about my dad who is 76, he will want the roof up! How much are these wind-blockers? I have just had my haircut short as I always run with the top down, unless its raining. At least I can see where I am going now!

Thats great if you just tootle round the lanes or the wifes not with you! put some miles in on a motorway or fast A road above 50 and a windcheater is invalubale!

Tims must be better made than Rimmers one.Got one cheap off 'Fleabay'
early last year and put it on my auto.Blummin'useless,made little difference.My 'failed rock stars'mane blinded me at any pace above
walking speed.So,back to wearing the Motorhead beanie and the Oakley
shades....what a poser!

Those photos were taken last year. As I have been on bed rest since November, there has not been a lot that I can do. It has been very frustrating.

As a TR7 can be driven up to speeds of 150km/h quite comfortably with the hood down I don't see the problem. And if the temperature drops below 0°C put on the Biggles jacket and switch the heater on [:p]



I'll keep it to myself how some of my friends call these screens [:I]
On the other hand experimenting with the position of the side windows when it get’s uncomfortable usually will be more than enough to remain comfortable.

I would agree that the TR7 is very comfortable to drive with the hood/top down. However, when driving my 7 with the top down I get a draft of air blowing directly into my right ear no matter how the side windows are adjusted. At temperatures of 65° F or less that draft gives me a nasty ear ache.[xx(] Guess I have sensitive ears?[?] Using the wind blocker eliminates that draft for me. I might also add that the wind blocker is very easy to remove and stow away in the boot as well.[8D]

Wow, all you folks have great looking TR7s. I can't wait to get mine. It's going to be a 1980 convertible in yellow. What's the correct name for this yellow by the way? I'll be sure to post pics when I get it from a friend of my father's.
