Door mirrors

Moe(aka the dogs)has sent me these pic.s of his V8's new door mirrors
He got them from Merlin motorsport.A bit different,doncha'think!
Any one else got non-stock mirrors?

I would like to fit these mirrors to the glass it would look a lot neater, Merlin Motorsport have some other similar mirrors that look as though they could fix to the quarter light with screws not sure I would want to try and drill the glass though ha ha.
Any ideas on a strong or suitable type of pad or adhesive would be much appreciated as I have a set to go on the 7 as well.

Would the adhesive used to bond rear-view mirrors to the inside of the windscreen be suitable for an exterior application?

More a sugestion of what not to do, Bullit mirror, looks to small for the car, cant see a thing out of it.

Yes, we made that mistake on our seven fitted the bullit mirrors, looked great but useless, couldn't see a thing out of them, so off they came.[:)]

I hate non-standard mirrors... I hate standard mirrors...
Is there a mirror that looks standard but is well made and doesn't wobble/fall off/corrode???

Californian ... [:D]
Need placing as far as possible to the front of the door to get a decent field of view. Yes mine should are placed to far back [:I]
But they look nice, don't wobble and haven't fallen of yet [8D]

My new mirrors don't wobble,shouldn't rust 'cos they are plastic and as far as falling off ----- well I'll just have to let you know on that one. By the way I have got some nice s/s standard type mirrors don't rust but or fall off but do wobble a bit[}:)][8D]
