You mean the big rally ones mounted on brackets or the standard looking ones in the bottom part of the bumper? I don't know if they are standard or not...because mine are fitted but not wired in.

Ah okay. I don't know how to fit them, i'll have a look at mine if you like and possibly take some photos, but I don't have photos of me putting them in 'cause I didn't do it. I would like to know the best way to wire mine in because the previous owner never did lol. [:(]

Steve, the original fit used special brackets which are very hard to find now. I think you can get away with the traditional drilling of a hole somewhere under the bumper if you can't find the correct brackets.
Ted Schumacher (TSI Automotive) in the States was selling some reproduction brackets in stainless, but don't know if he still stocks them. Might be worth an email to him? Here is the website

As for wiring, you should find that most of it is already in place in the car, assuming it hasn't been bu**ered about by a PO. As far as I remember it is just the final connections at the front of the car that are required, once you have installed the lights. On late cars I think it is a red/yellow wire that supplies the power, & earths through the chassis.

Steve, are you sure you got 'the correct' bracket?
Here's a picture of a correct DHC fog light bracket (bumper removed to take the picture):

Hi Odd, im not sure if i have the right bracket or not, because the fog lights i bought are brand new ones from Rimmers Part No RX1370. i hope what i bought will do cos they are lovely lamps, but im sure if its only a bracket problem if the new one wont work there must be a way round it .

Checked the Rimmer site: They list YKC3721 as available...
Part Number: YKC3721
Description: F/FOG LIGHT BRKT.RH/LH.
Retail Price: £6.00 inc. VAT (£5.11 exc. VAT)
Exchange Surcharge: None
So there should be no reason for butchering the front bumper... [:)]
And the further back into the car you fit them, the less ugly add-on they look! [:D]

Unfortunately one got hit at the same time as the viscous fan snapped
So not on the car anymore replaced with other lights
(not as nice as the ones I had but will change them when I get some spare cash)
But no modifying needed just as mentioned in the thread that I put the link up for
Just elongated the hole in the bumper that was already there..

Impossible for me to say since I don't know what you got
- and also I have no idea on how far from oem specification you are willing to let your car slide...
Most things will fit in the end, if you're handy enough - and have enough tools...[8D]
