Any idea as to what glue I should use to stick the "Triumph " enamelled badge back on the nose panel with ?

We use double sided tape, similar to the stuff used to stick interior mirrors to the windscreen.

I think you can use this double sided tape from frost.

I've allways been using 3M double sides adhesive "red" tape for re-attaching mouldings , nameplates and trims in the bodyshop.
By far we've allways found 3m's products superior to others.....

Thanks Guys. I know of Frost. I purchased some POR15 from them in the past. I will give them a ring.

ggreen-where did you even find one of those? I know that VB carries them, but they also want $70.00 for one![:0] I just bought the center cap for the steering wheel which closeley resembles it on eBay for $11 brand new and will have the local print shop do an enlargement and clear vinyl coat it for me for free (helps when the owner is your neighbor!). I was never crazy about the whole wreath/script thing, and the decals on the trunk are sort of worn,so I am having both removed, and the badge put on in the front, and the actual metal letters from an earlier Triumph put across the rear boot,Lotus-style.

fiveliters, that badge is still listed by Rimmers - XKC3902
for £30. Dunno'what the exchange rate does to that, then
there's the shipping! Some times appear at auto jumbles
for less than 30 notes,i'll keep a look out for ya' if you
want one.

See ya. Paul

i've often seen the enamelled badges going for under a tenner at the autojumbles

one guy had three or four at Beaulieu last year on his stall
