Hey Jclay,
Looks great, but you can eliminate line 154, my correct info is on line 155, somehow entered twice.
Thanks

..Hello Beans is not a photo montage? Since when did you take to the mountains

By the way beans Is the difference V8 (original) and 16V Tr7 large or should be a V8 tuned .. Unfortunately, I am neither one nor the other driven and it would be nice to know ... It fits better in a V8 coupe, or vice versa?

The picture of 't Kreng was taken earlier this ... euh ...last year on Buttertubs Pass in Yorkshire.
The picture of the DHC was taken on top of the Timmelsjoch during the 2007 edition of the 10CR

Thank you so much for all your efforts compiling the data sheet. It makes really interesting reading. I read from another post that you have not been in the best of health lately, so i hope things improve for you and that you have a good 2008.

Kind Regards

Simon Hubbard

JClay, certainly a job well done!
It would be nice if a picture could be added for each car and the list included as a page on the web site.
The MG Car Club Magnette register has a similar page organised by serial number with pictures and I never get tired of looking at it. (My other classic is a 1955 MG Magnette)

Thanks again for a job well done!

Beans-Great pics of your great looking cars. I particularly like the FHC!

I pressume you mean the standard 8 valve as compared to the Sprint engine?
As I have never driven a standard TR7 Sprint I can't really answer that question. A Dooly Sprint on the other hand is a great car to drive. My Sprint produces ± 175 bhp @ 5800 rpm and 197 Nm @ 4500rpm of torque so that's in a rather different league.
As for the comparison between standard or tuned 8 valve engine. Well 30 bhp and 12 Nm of torque extra is never a bad thing. Especially as my tuned 8V pulls very well from low revs and is fairly fuel efficient (30 mpg is easy achivable). It more or less drives like a standard TR7 it's only just that bit quicker.
