I think this guy may struggle to get £250, even if the engine sounds like a good spec.

Well, leaving aside the engine, if it really has got a C/R LT77 box, plus the modified suspension parts & Salisbury axle, I think it will attract interest.

What condition those parts are in is another matter of course ....

Does anyone know the history of this car? The mods suggest it is worth more than the starting bid. A rebuilt bottom end with dry sump and head work... needs to be checked out at least.

If anyone in the UK is willing to store it for me for a reasonable fee I will buy it! I am still seeking a late Solihull built DHC car and could look to ship both in 40' container to Sydney.

78 FHC ACG364##KF red, sunroof, air/cond - Nice shell. Next project?
80 FHC TCG1154##KF Inca Yellow, air/cond - Nice shell, missing original engine. Last to road?
(and the remants of 3 other FHCs sent to the bone yard)

I'd like to have a look at the dry sump set-up. That car would be worth a fortune as parts.

reality check, chances are all that good stuff would not have been dropped into a piss poor shell, if the body has rotted that badly, what sort of mess is the mechanical stuff in, rats nesting in the carb, the dry sum dried up, sorry but you would have to be mad to touch it without having it running.

We've done so much with so little for so long, that . . .

Now we can take any TR7, that hasn't run in 10 years, with massave tin worm distruction and make it into a screaming machine!

Not too long to go with the auction now, If I dont get it then I just hope that it gets the restoration it deserves and not broken up and forgotten about.
