Fascia to windscreen rubber seal

Postby irco » 15 Oct 2021 22:58

The seal on my car was perished & split at the ends and definitely the worse for wear. Original seal no longer available apparently. Found this on eBay for just over a fiver. Quick & easy to fit, looks ok & is unobtrusive.

Hi, do you have a link for it or the name of the eBay seller?

Wish you had posted this a week ago. I threw out a grey dash which nobody seemed to want and it had a good original screen seal on it which I could have taken off.

Can't find exact seller I got mine from, this looks virtually identical & slightly cheaper.

The original profile is more or less Z-shaped and is held in place with a few steel trimclips.

Looks like it's a dash out job to fit original, if it was available. Happy with my eBay fix for now until remanufactured originals become available & I have occasion to remove dash for some reason. Hopefully not for a while though :D
