The forum will be moved to anew server over the next few weeks and streamlined - this should make it more reliable.

The lack of use / posting is an on-going concern ...it'll be a shame if the forum is closed due to lack of use ...I guess it is up to us all to 'use it or lose it'

Nuff said! :?

People can only use it if it is up an running, it is more down than up.
We cant recommend to come to the forum if it is not up and running.
forums are much better than FB as you can find things again on the forum

Not true, forum was running constantly for over 2 years and posts dropped markedly ...so before having a 'go' then please ensure facts are correct.

Yeah, FB is here today, gone tomorrow, more of a social thing than a repository of searchable information. The other thing is, as a hobby that is run by past memories for the most part, a lot of us are older and are either dying off or getting too old to be wrenching or getting into or out of our low down cars. We have this happening more and more in our car club as more and more are selling off out MGs and Triumphs etc. and buying Jag XK8s as they are more modern, easier to get into and out of and easier to drive. While I entertained that for a few months, I bought an Volt instead and kept my Triumphs and 1988 Toyota Tercel 4X4 wagon as tinkering toys.

I usually look in to the forum most nights because I am a total technophobe and I much prefer this forum against fb maybe that's because a lot of modern tech stuff goes over my head :D
I hope you keep going with the forum Christopher as you do a great job under difficult circumstances at times.
Thank you for all your work and knowledge that you impart concerning all things Triumph Wedge.
Cheers
Moe

I discovered the forum back in 2007 and found it had the most knowledge of anything wedge related on the net. It crossed time zones and a question could be asked in the evening and the answer found the next morning from another continent. There’s lots of support across the forum which I’ve always appreciated.

I looked at the Facebook pages some time back, not for me, a bit of a shotgun approach to its posts and finding content.

It would be shame if this resource was lost.

Hi Ladies and Gents,

Really would be a shame to see this huge resource go, although don't post on here much nowadays still use it from time when my failing memory works and can remember a post in the past.

Great to see some old and familiar names. Should get back into forum habit, as Christopher says, " Use it or loose it "

Cheers John
